What skincare products do I personally use?

This changes as I test out new formulas all the time but here are my top 5 in 2024:

  1. Brave Facial Mist
  2. GlyMed Idyllic Cleanser
  3. GlyMed Diamond Bright Skin Illuminator
  4. GlyMed Comfort Cream
  5. GlyMed Mattifying Sulfur Masque

What is the most common skincare mistake I see?

Far too often, clients come in using way too many skincare products. They often have a hoarder's collection of old skincare items and lack a consistent routine. All you really need are a few products that are correct for your skin to see amazing results.

What do I like to do in my free time?

I love spending my free time engaging in activities that nourish both the body and the soul. Cooking nutritious meals for my partner and me is one of my favorite ways to unwind and connect. I also cherish being creative and competitive—whether that’s attending paint nights or enjoying board games with friends. These hobbies not only bring joy, but they also keep my creative energies flowing, which I bring back to my work.

What advice would I give to someone starting their skincare journey?

Starting a skincare journey can feel overwhelming, but remember, it's all about finding what works for you. Here's my best advice: Begin with the basics. A gentle cleanser, a moisturizer suited to your skin type, and sunscreen are your foundational elements. Once you're comfortable, consider incorporating treatments tailored to your specific concerns, like hydration serums or exfoliating acids. Listen to your skin—it will tell you what it needs more or less of as you go along. And most importantly, be patient with yourself. Great skin doesn't happen overnight, but with consistent care, you'll see changes you'll love.
